This is a vocational program designed for Contemporary Musicians who wish to develop their skills in performance and widen their musical backgrounds. The Units of Competence from the nationally accredited Music Training Package (CUS09) are clustered within the course delivery units. These delivery units provide training in the industry areas of Concert Practice, Ensemble, Improvisation, Workshop, Aural, History, Music Industry, Music Software, Copyright, OH&S, Second Study Piano and Theory.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students are assessed on performance at an audition and school or post-secondary academic record. A minimum music standard equivalent to Grade VI practical and Grade V theory (AMEB) is desirable. It is expected that applicants would normally have achieved a level of education equivalent to completion of Year 10. Information relating to the audition requirements and procedures is available on the WAAPA website. They need to submit a folio of work or complete an interview and/or audition. They must satisfy IELTS overall band score of 6.0 (no individual band less than 6), TOEFL minimum score of 550 including TWE score of 5 (or a Computer based TOEFL score of 213 with an essay rating of 5 or better), TOEFL iBT score of 80 with no score below 20, GCE O Levels grade C or better, WAUFP 50 percent plus pass in ELACS, TEE pass in English or English Literature, International Baccalaureate Diploma minimum Grade 3 at higher level for an English subject and other acceptable qualifications can be obtained from ECU International. There are different entry requirement for various countries.
