Ringkasan program
In this course, students will learn to conduct a range of sampling and testing activities that requires the application of broad scientific-technical knowledge and skills to work as a laboratory technician or technical officer in biological/environmental laboratories. This includes areas such as the detection and quantification of chemical substances in animal and plant materials and environmental samples, the preparation of plant and animal materials for microscopic examination, identification and study of plants and animals in the laboratory and field. These skills are necessary when carrying out research and testing in the environmental and biological areas.

Students must have completed Year 12 or equivalent. They must have proficiency in English with academic IELTS score of 5.5 or TOEFL (iBT) score of 46 or Certificate III in advanced English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent.
