Ringkasan program
This course is for people who want to work as laboratory technicians or technical officers in the manufacturing industry, chemical laboratories, forensic laboratories or a wide range of other industries. Students will learn how to competently perform a wide range of activities requiring the application of technical and scientific knowledge - conducting, for instance: environmental analysis which includes water, soil, air, noise and other environmental tests chemical testing in manufacturing, government laboratories, contracting laboratories analysing chemicals, cosmetics, plastics, pharmaceuticals, paints or similar products forensic testing, the collection and analysis of crime scene materials They will also acquire the skills involved in sampling and testing, communicating information to customers, and analysing and reporting data as it applies to the related industry sector.

Students must have completed Year 12 or equivalent or Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques (17377). They must have proficiency in English with academic IELTS score of 5.5 or TOEFL (iBT) score of 46 or Certificate III in English for Further Study at TAFE NSW or equivalent.
