Ringkasan program
The first year of this course is the Certificate IV in Applied Fashion Design and Technology. In the second year, students are required to produce a portfolio of more complex work, e.g. tailoring, special occasion wear, which includes a variety of projects and products for assessment. A final presentation is delivered at the end of the year to summaries their body of work. Students can specialize in one of the following industry developed streams in the final study year: custom garment maker (the higher level skills to work independently in couture garment making; designer/product developer for industry; product developer/small business (niche markets concepts); theatrical/performance costume. Students completing this course may find employment as pattern maker, pattern grader, fashion designer, custom garment maker or a small business operator.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have completed Certificate III in Applied Fashion Design and Technology or can demonstrate that they have the necessary skills to gain recognition. They must have obtained IELTS 5.5 general training (no band less than 5.0) or equivalent.
