This course aims to provide students with an opportunity to explore a humanities or social sciences discipline in some depth. Successful completion of the DipArts means gaining a recognised qualification. It also means guaranteed entry into the Bachelor of Arts. DipArts students will explore disciplines that study the way humans recognise, record and debate human practices, meanings and values. This will aid them in developing contemporary understandings both of the human condition and of how society operates. Students will have the opportunity to gain crucial lifelong learning and transferable generic skills, such as critical thinking and problem solving. They will be able to apply these skills to a range of employment opportunities and life situations. Careers include: Advertising, arts administration, editing, government administration and planning, communications, copy writing, desk-top publishing, environmental planning and management, geography, history, journalism, librarianship, research, nature and heritage conservation, political research, psychology, teaching, welfare, writing (various), and many more.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have sound or satisfactory achievement in three academic subjects in Year 12 or equivalent. They should also have an overall IELTS band score of 6.0 (with no individual band score of less than 5.0), or a TOEFL score of 550 (Internet-based score of 79 or computer-based score of 213), including a TWE of 4.
