Ringkasan program
This course is designed to develop a sound knowledge of ceramic raw materials, a high level of technical competence in handling processes and a solid background in design; develop practicing ceramicists who have the discipline, self-direction and knowledge to generate income; develop an artistic awareness and appreciation of ceramics; encourage specialist aspirations and self expression; prepare students who can use their abilities creatively to cover diverse market demands; foster the beliefs, skills, knowledge and attitudes required to ensure the continuation of traditional craft and prepare students for further studies at a tertiary level. This course prepares students for self-employment as ceramicists or for employment as support personnel in ceramics-based occupations.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have Good passes at Year 11 level or the overseas equivalent and preferably some relevant work experience. An English language proficiency level of IELTS 5.5, ISLPR 2+, TOEFL 197 (Computer based) or equivalent is needed. Studies in Art and Design is recommended.
