Ringkasan program
This course focuses on three streams: dance (technique, styles and choreography), teaching (methods, principles and strategies) and business management (finance, marketing and promotions). They will work with the principles of safe dance teaching for children, and learn about ballet, jazz and contemporary dance styles. They will gain an understanding of anatomy, stagecraft and production. The course has a high practical content and students will be expected to work hours outside their class allocations for various presentations. There are also elements of technical production, including a final presentation in the Laurel Martyn Scholarship competition for choreography in the final year. Second year students are expected to present a choreographed entry and design and implement the production of the final concert including all aspects of program conception and promotion. Graduates may be employed as dance teachers in private studios. They may be eligible to apply for courses at universities to further their dance options. Credit transfers may be available for Deakin University.

Students should have completed Australian year 12 or with a pass, a relevant employment experience in industry will be considered. They are required to satisfy English language requirement IELTS overall score of 5.5 (Academic) and TOEFL score of 530 for paper examination; 179 for computer based and 71 for Internet based.
