Ringkasan program
This advanced course gives students the skills and knowledge to work in the hospitality industry in a range of venues (from bars and hotels to fine-dining restaurants). They will also gain practical skills in food and beverage service, learn how to responsibly serve alcohol and follow workplace hygiene procedures. The Certificate IV in Hospitality is embedded in this course, and it can be delivered with the Diploma of Events to give them a dual qualification. It will provide them with the supervisory and leadership skills necessary for roles such as shift supervisor, duty manager and maitre D. Venues may include hospitals, bottle shops, canteens, bars, hotels, motels, sporting arenas and many more. They may wish to progress into the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality, involving a further six months of study. They may then wish to progress into the Bachelor of Hospitality Management with credits for previous study.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have completed Australian year 12 or equivalent with a pass, relevant senior employment experience in industry will be considered. They are required to satisfy English language requirement IELTS overall score of 5.5 (Academic) and TOEFL score of 530 for paper examination; 179 for computer based and 71 for Internet based.
