This course incorporates Certificate III and Certificate IV in Live Production, Theatre and Events (Technical Operations). In this course students will learn units in audio, lighting, staging, vision systems, use of hand tools and power tools, follow OHS, source and apply entertainment industry knowledge, working with others, managing own work and learning, team leadership units, plus technical workplace management classes. Technical production and design graduates can be employed by theatres, theatre companies or concert staging companies. Most touring companies employ their own sound, lighting and stage technicians who will travel with a given play, dance production or concert.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must satisfy an IELTS score of 5.5 general or equivalent; and successful completion of Year 12 or overseas equivalent; and presentation of an adequate portfolio of artwork. Applicants will be required to assemble and present projects that they have worked on from sound and/or vision systems, lighting or staging (use drawings, photographs, designs, etc).
