Ringkasan program
This major involves attendance at lectures, seminars and tutorials as well as clinical training and case presentations. Courses cover basic and applied topics relevant to orthodontics. These include cephalometric theory and practice, craniofacial anatomy, development and morphology, biological force systems and their application, radiology and radiography techniques. Major clinical pursuits include orthodontics, dental and craniofacial anomalies, cleft lip and palate, and interdisciplinary management of complex malocclusions. Clinical work is undertaken at the Dental School, Children’s Oral Health Service (Royal Children's Hospital) and Maxillofacial Unit (Royal Brisbane Hospital).

Students must have completed Bachelor of Dentistry Science (Honours I or IIA) or equivalent and minimum two years of graduate clinical experience. Overseas trained applicants may be required to undertake a theory and clinical skills assessment. They should also satisfy the English language requirements: IELTS overall 7; reading 7; writing 7; speaking 7; listening 7; TOEFL - (Computer based score of 237; Essay writing score of 4.5); TOEFL - (Paper based score of 570; TWE (Test of written English) score of 5); TOEFL - (Internet Based (IBT) overall score of 90; writing score of 21).
