Ringkasan program
This is a professional doctorate program that aims to produce clinical pharmacists capable of providing specialist pharmaceutical services in all clinical environments. Graduates will be able to take a leading role in the decision making process of drug and drug product selection for individual patients, effectively monitor a patient's therapy, provide specialist drug information and education programs to patients and health care professionals and be able to critically evaluate clinical research. In the first half of the program, students complete subjects that focus on clinical pharmacy practice, pharmacotherapeutics, epidemiology, evidence-based medicine and research methods. In the second half of the program, students complete a structured research project and thesis.

Students are required to: be a currently Registered Pharmacist in their own country of residence and have had at least two years experience as a pharmacist in a direct patient care environment; and demonstrate proficiency in spoken and written English language (see English Language Entry Requirements below); and hold a coursework Master in Clinical Pharmacy from the University of South Australia, or have completed the coursework components of the Master of Clinical Pharmacy at this University, with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 5.0 (credit level) or greater. International students who speak English as a foreign language must have obtained one of the following standards within the last two years prior to admission: International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test - a minimum overall score of 7.0 with a minimum score of 7.0 in Writing and Speaking sub scores and 6.5 in Reading and Listening sub scores; or TOEFL equivalent; or a tertiary qualification completed in Australia within the last two years at an acceptable academic level. Students are required to meet at least one of the English language entry requirements listed. IELTS 7.0, TOEFL PBT 600 with TWE of 5.0, TOEFL iBT 100 with no band less than 20, Cambridge CPE C, Cambridge CAE 67 (no less than Borderline in RW), CELUSA AE4, Pearson PTE Academic Bands below as per the Pearson equivalency table 74 with no communicative score less than 68.
