Ringkasan program
This program is a professional, advanced degree for men and women who are graduates holding the ACT’s BTh, BMin, or the MDiv as their primary degree in theology, and who are already engaged in Christian ministry. The course is designed to advance the scholarly enhancement of ministerial practice by means of learning, reflection, and research integrated with the student’s experience in ministry context. The goals of the course are to facilitate a professional, advanced understanding of the nature and purposes of Christian ministry at the highest level, enhance competencies in the analysis of ministerial and professional skills and to integrate these dimensions into a theologically reflective practice, foster new knowledge about the practice of ministry, and encourage continued growth in spiritual maturity. Programs may be designed to advance the general practice of ministry in its many forms or to advance expertise in a specialised area of ministerial practice (e.g., cross-cultural ministry, church planting, pastoral care, preaching, missions).

Students should have five years of full-time Christian ministry after the completion of the candidate’s initial theological degree. Normally, the equivalent of four years of integrated full-time degree level studies in theology completed with a GPA of at least 2.0. The College’s BMin (with a GPA of at least 2.0) together with the Graduate Diploma in Ministry is regarded as satisfying this stipulation. Other modes of satisfying the entrance requirements would be: MDiv (GPA of at least 2.8, with D grade in the project completed in the Department of Ministry and Practice); BMin (GPA less than 2.0) with a completed MA(Min). Discrete DMin units units could not be taken as part of any four-year integrated program; MA(Min) units taken to satisfy entrance requirements would not count towards the DMin. They should have fulfilled English language requirements with a minimum IELTS result required is 7.5 with a minimum of 7.5 in reading and writing, 7.0 in listening and 6.5 in speaking.
