Ringkasan program
This program provides training and education with the objective of producing graduates with the capacity to conduct research independently at a high level of originality and quality. By the end of the degree program, the PhD student will be capable of conceiving, designing and carrying to completion a research program without supervision. The purpose of the PhD is to advance knowledge and/or the application of knowledge through the preparation of a substantial piece of work which represents a significant contribution to a particular field of study.

Students must hold an Honours degree or a Bachelors degree with honours of at least class 2A in an appropriate discipline; or an appropriate Masters degree; or have other qualifications, professional experience or published research work that provide evidence of the ability to undertake advanced research appropriate to the proposed PhD program. International students must meet the following English language requirements: English language-rich programs: overall IELTS entry level score is 7.0, with a minimum of 6.0 in each sub-score test (reading, writing, listening, speaking), obtained within the last 2 years prior to the date of application; overall PTE entry level score is 74 (with no communication score less than 68), obtained within the last 2 years prior to the date of application. Non English language-rich programs: overall IELTS entry level score is 6.5, with a minimum of 6.0 in each sub-score test (reading, writing, listening, speaking), obtained within the last 2 years prior to the date of application; overall PTE entry level score is 66 (with no communication score less than 60), obtained within the last 2 years prior to the date of application. Corresponding results from an equivalent test: Teaching of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL); the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations for the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE); the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE); Centre for English Language at the University of South Australia (CELUSA): Academic English (AE) program to the level determined by CELUSA.
