Ringkasan program
This program provides students with the opportunity to study the development of Islamic thought and Muslim societies from a broad multidisciplinary perspective. Islam is one of the fastest-growing religions in the world. It is embraced by approximately one-fifth of the world's population. Islamic Studies addresses the issues relevant to the development of Islam as a religion and civilization from its origins to the present. Students can complete one major, one major and one minor, or two majors in Bachelor of Arts. Graduate pathways include Executive Master of Arts, social sciences, cultural management, media, communications and publishing, honours, higher research, and professional entry programs. Careers include international relations, diplomacy, community development, communications, government and policy development. This program can be completed in accelerated mode also.

The minimum entry requirements for this program normally require the satisfactory completion of an undergraduate degree either from the University of Melbourne, another Australian institution, or a university in another country. International applicants must fulfill the following English language requirements: IELTS (academic English only) score of 6.5 (no band less than 6.0); TOEFL (paper-based test) score of 577 plus TWE 4.5; TOEFL (computer-based test) score of 233 plus 4.5 essay rating; TOEFL (internet-based test) score of 79 (writing 21, speaking 18, reading 13 and listening 13); Pearson Test of English (academic) score of 58-64 inclusive and no communicative skill below 50.
