This program in research methodology specialisation provides a broad introduction to the world of research and is the foundation for a career in education research and related fields. Although this course focuses specifically on methods applied in the discipline of education, it constitutes a basis for a career in any area of social research. By developing their research skills, it also provides a strong foundation for research higher degrees. Classes encourage collaborative approaches to learning, and involve the exploration of topics using real-life examples of research. Hands-on experience in data collection and analysis is a feature of the specialisation. The Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies has been designed to further the careers of teaching professionals, educational administrators, researchers and policy makers within specific areas of education practice.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students hold a Bachelor of Education; a bachelor degree, or an equivalent qualification, with the completion of postgraduate studies, or professional experience equivalent to one year full-time, in a field appropriate to the program of studies; or have satisfactorily completed the Graduate Certificate in Educational Studies at the University of Sydney in the specialisation intended. They must satisfy IELTS score of 6.5 (min 6.0 in each band) or TOEFL minimum result of 577 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in writing or IBT score of 90 (minimum 23 in writing and 22 in reading, listening and speaking).
