This course enables registered teachers to add an area of specialization to their teaching portfolio and demonstrates knowledge, understanding and capacity in that area of specialization. It is designed to provide registered teachers with specialist knowledge and skills in nominated areas of specialization. This program builds on conceptual knowledge, understanding and skills, developed at an undergraduate level, of issues that influence implementation of curriculum and pedagogy and desired educational outcomes. Upon successful completion of this program students may seek career advancement in learning and teaching environments and leadership positions within education/government departments.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have completed a four year undergraduate degree from a recognized tertiary institution; or a three year undergraduate degree from a recognized tertiary institution plus recognized prior learning (RPL) involving continuous professional development as evidenced by at least one of following: significant contribution to industry; promotion in the workplace; recognition by a professional body; community/industry leadership; receipt of significant prizes and/or awards; personal references that attest to the applicant's high level performance in the workplace/industry/community; or publications/patents/copyright. Also students should demonstrate their English language proficiency with an overall IELTS band score of 6.0 (with no individual band score of less than 5.0), or a TOEFL score of 550 (Internet-based score of 79 or computer-based score of 213), including a TWE of 4.
