Ringkasan program
This course is aimed at providing graduates with the opportunity to extend and develop their knowledge of contemporary design. This program offers design professionals fresh perspectives on their practice and develops the student’s the ability to design contemporary objects across a range of outcomes within a collaborative environment. The combination of design theory and technical exploration informs the designer's future contribution to an emerging international design culture. There are five major areas of study within the discipline of Design Studies: ceramics, environments and spatial design, graphics, jewellery and textiles. Graduates can access jobs across the broad spectrum of the design industry, including corporate design, design consultancies and/or private practice in Australia and overseas.

Students must have completed undergraduate degree in a relevant field of study from a recognised tertiary institution. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS overall score of 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in each of the sub-tests of speaking, listening, reading and writing; TOEFL - Internet-based Test (iBT) overall score of 90 with a minimum score of 24 in writing; TOEFL - Paper-based Test (PBT) overall score of 577 with a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE); successful completion of the UNSW Institute of Languages University English Entry Course with a grade of C+ (grade point 7.0) and a minimum score of 20 in the writing component; overall score of 68 in Pearson Test of English academic version and successful completion of the ANU College Access Program with a minimum of 70 per cent overall.
