This program offers professional studies, knowledge and skills in learning and teaching, to compliment previous discipline studies achieved through the successful completion of a three year non education undergraduate degree. The purpose of the program is to develop teachers who draw on discipline knowledge in order to teach within the key learning areas or contexts that constitute the curriculum framework in most schools. It complements existing in-depth discipline knowledge with education studies, curriculum and pedagogical studies and workplace learning experiences. Career opportunities include teacher in primary schools, education consultant, trainer.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have completed of at least two years of senior secondary or tertiary study where the language of instruction is English, completed within the last five years in exempt countries namely Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Republic of Ireland, South Africa, United Kingdom and United State of America (considered on a case-by-case basis); or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) overall score of 7.5, with no sub-score less than 7.0 in writing and reading, and a sub-score no less than 8 in speaking and listening, or the equivalent score obtained on an approved alternative test, obtained within two years prior to the commencement of the program. Approved alternative tests include Internet-based TOEFL (iBt), Paper-based TOEFL, Person Test of English Academic, Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) and International Second Language Proficiency Test (ISLPR).
