Ringkasan program
This course extends those studies to further professional knowledge and skills in the research and development of electronic engineering. The course has been designed to provide graduates with: a foundation in both the theoretical and the practical aspects of electronic engineering systems; an awareness of social, economic, cultural and environmental aspects of electronic engineering; an ability to critically analyse and evaluate information and solve problems; an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities and a commitment to them; the ability to work and interact professionally as an individual and as a member of multi-disciplinary teams; an understanding of the need to undertake lifelong learning and the capacity to do so; and preparation for future management roles as professional engineers. The course provides the foundations that will underpin ongoing professional development, preparing graduates for further study or for a career in an engineering related field or in other areas where the range of skills and knowledge acquired is needed or desirable.

Students normally must hold an approved undergraduate engineering degree with appropriate electronic content, or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution. Some basic knowledge of biology and chemistry will be assumed. An applicant who has not previously studied electronics may be required to undertake appropriate bridging studies. The Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Electronics) is not available to graduates of the Bachelor of Engineering (Computer and Electronic), Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics), Bachelor of Engineering (Robotics) or of equivalent undergraduate courses from other tertiary institutions. Graduates of these degrees or similar may apply for admission to the Master of Engineering (Electronics). They should have IELTS (academic) score of 6.0 (6.0 in speaking and writing); TOEFL (paper) score of 550 (TWE 4.5); TOEFL (internet) score of 80 (20 in writing and speaking); Cambridge (CAE) Grade of B or higher; Cambridge (CPE) Grade of C or higher; Pearson English Test overall score of 59 with no communication score less than 53.
