This program offers core business courses in conjunction with specialised tourism courses that reflect the distinctive characteristics of the tourism industry. These provide a comprehensive qualification designed to meet today’s complex global management challenges. The Tourism program will provide an understanding of: latest business trends, sustainable development, innovative decision-making, the skills, attitude and knowledge required to work and develop as productive and socially responsible managers in the global tourism industry. This program is suitable for those employed in the industry and wish to enhance their career prospects. It will also appeal to those looking to make a career transition into the tourism industry. Those students with prior industry knowledge or experience will be well positioned to move into middle or senior management. With dramatic growth predicted for employment in transport, attractions, conventions and events, a wide range of career opportunities will be available in both the public and private sector.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have a successfully completed Bachelors degree from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; or Graduate Certificate in Management or Business Administration with a grade point average of at least 4.0 from the University of South Australia or an equivalent qualification from another recognised university. Normally students who have completed a bachelors degree with a grade point average of 4.0 or better will be eligible for entry. A GPA of 4.0 refers to the UniSA grading scale which has a range of 1 - 7, other equivalent Australian and international grading scales will be considered. International students must have an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: Overall 6.5 (with 6.0 in Reading and Writing) obtained within the last two years. Students are required to meet at least one of the English language entry requirements listed. IELTS 6.0, TOEFL PBT 577 with TWE of 4.5, TOEFL iBT 90 with no band less than 20, Cambridge CPE C, Cambridge CAE 58 (no less than Borderline in RW), CELUSA AE4, Pearson PTE Academic Bands below as per the Pearson equivalency table 66 with no communicative score less than 60.
