Ringkasan program
This course enables science graduates to pursue their interest and develop their knowledge and skills in physical oceanography and meteorology, utilising the unique marine and tropical environments of northern Queensland. The School hosts major research centres, including the Centre for Disaster Studies, the only specialist disaster unit in Queensland, which has a multidisciplinary approach working in the fields of emergency management and meteorology, and with local and state government departments. On completion, graduates may find jobs in agencies and organisations such as the Bureau of Meteorology, Defence Science and Technology Organisation, Australian Institute of Marine Science, CSIRO, and the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation.

Students must have completed a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science or other qualifications deemed appropriate by the Faculty. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS score of 6.0 (no component lower than 5.5) or TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (plus minimum Test of Written English score of 4.0) or TOEFL (internet based) score of 79 (minimum writing score of 19) or Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 57.
