This program introduces and consolidates fundamental public health concepts and prepares health professionals from a broad range of backgrounds, with knowledge and skills from a variety of disciplines, to define, assess critically and resolve public health and nutrition problems. The Major study areas are Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs, Defence, Indigenous Health, Nutrition, Standard and Tropical Health. Within the field of Public Health, alcohol, tobacco and other drug use are associated with a significant burden of illness and injury in populations around the globe. In addition, individuals, families and communities experience adverse social harms arising from specific patterns of intoxication, modes of drug use and illicit drug markets.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have completed a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from the university, in the relevant field or an approved degree. They should also satisfy the English language requirements: IELTS (overall score of 6.5; writing score of 6); TOEFL - (Computer based score of 237; Essay writing score of 4.5); TOEFL - (Paper based score of 570; TWE (Test of written English) score of 5); TOEFL - (Internet Based (IBT) overall score of 90; writing score of 21).
