Ringkasan program
By completing an honours degree, students will acquire knowledge, competence, skill and attributes that enhance their ability to promote professional nursing and to lead and achieve in their chosen fields. Nursing in contemporary health care requires highly trained professionals, who are technically competent and capable of identifying problems, and applying research methods in a practice environment. Students undertaking the Bachelor of Nursing are selected into the honours degree at the completion of the second year. Students undertaking the honours degree begin taking research units in their third year. The Honours degree provides students with a recognised pathway to a higher degree by research. Graduates may also work in clinical positions requiring identification of evidence based practice and leadership in practice change such as project leaders, coordinators and research assistants.

Students must have academic Year 12 or equivalent academic qualification. They must have achieved the following English language proficiency test results: IELTS (minimum test score of 6.5 overall; no individual band less than 6.0); Paper-based TOEFL (minimum test score of 580; a Test of Written English (TWE) score of at least 4.5); Internet-based TOEFL (a score of at least 90 overall; a Writing score of at least 22; no score lower than 20 on the other sections of the test); Cambridge English CAE (A grade); Cambridge English CEP (C grade).
