This program designed to prepare students for social, cultural and academic life at Monash University. The Introductory Academic Program is for international students who have received a full Offer to study at Monash University and want to develop skills in: academic vocabulary, critical thinking, independent learning and lecture note-taking. The program is designed to: prepare students for academic, cultural and social life at Monash University; provide with intensive academic skills training. It provides students with the opportunity to: integrate into the Monash learning community; learn how Monash University functions; obtain world-class language tuition in a caring learning environment; participate in tutorials and seminars; adjust to the academic and cultural conventions of English-speaking societies; enjoy new friendships; enhance their marketable career skills; discuss and debate global issues in a cross-cultural context.
