Ringkasan program
This programme provides an intensive postgraduate experience in contemporary fine art practice. It is structured to further one’s own practice or form an introduction for those who are new to the field of Fine Arts practice. Time-based Art is an interdisciplinary area embracing the development of experimental and critically conceived work in experimental film, video art, performance, experimental animation, screen-based and interactive installation, interactive media and sound art. This study area is a leading area for the development of video art and experimental film at a university level in Australia. Graduates of the Master of Art program generally work as practicing artists and/or find employment in the arts industry.

Students should have completed a recognised bachelor degree or Graduate Diploma in Art. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS overall score of 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in each of the sub-tests of speaking, listening, reading and writing; TOEFL - Internet-based Test (iBT) overall score of 90 with a minimum score of 24 in writing; TOEFL - Paper-based Test (PBT) overall score of 577 with a minimum score of 5.0 in the Test of Written English (TWE); successful completion of the UNSW Institute of Languages University English Entry Course with a grade of C+ (grade point 7.0) and a minimum score of 20 in the writing component; overall score of 68 in Pearson Test of English academic version and successful completion of the ANU College Access Program with a minimum of 70 per cent overall.
