Ringkasan program
This course prepares graduates to become economic analysts in the public or private sectors and also provides students with the necessary academic foundations in economics and econometrics to proceed to a PhD within Australia or abroad. It is designed for students who have an undergraduate degree in a discipline other than economics. The course provides training in the key areas of economics, such as: macroeconomic policy and financial markets, pricing, profitability and firm behaviour; government intervention in the labour market; the environment and health sector; regional economic disparities, development and international trade; and forecasting and econometrics. Students can choose from the following majors: General, Environmental Management and Political Economy.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have completion of an appropriate bachelor degree with Honours Class I or II, either from this university or from another institution of higher education provided the qualification is equivalent to an Australian undergraduate degree with Honours I or II; or completion of the Postgraduate Diploma of Economics from this university. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS score of 6.0 (no component lower than 5.5) or TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (plus minimum Test of Written English score of 4.0) or TOEFL (internet based) score of 79 (minimum writing score of 19) or Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 57.
