UOW hosts a series of Discovery Days which allow Year 12 students from over 130 high schools to experience, for a day, life as a university student. The day provides students with an insight into student life, including services and facilities on campus, subject selection, as well as the experience of attending classes in their areas of interest.

This campus is located on the New South Wales coast, 80km south of Sydney and 3km from the centre of Wollongong.
