This program enables teachers to extend and update their knowledge in a specialised area of interest. The Master of Education has international standing and is seen as a prestigious qualification for educators who wish to become leaders in their chosen fields.

Students should have special interest in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Applicants are asked to provide a statement which articulates why they are interested in TESOL and how they would like to utilize the qualification. International students will also require an overall International English Language Testing System (IELTS) average of 6.5, with no band lower than 6.0, or Direct Entry Academic Program (DEAP ) overall of 65 per cent (60 per cent for writing).
