Ringkasan program
This course is offered collaboratively by several Schools in the Faculty of Arts. The degree is designed for graduates who are seeking careers in international affairs, in government, diplomacy, non-government organisations (NGOs), international organisations, and the media. It is a program that combines advanced study in the field of international relations, with relevant professional skills development, and an electives program that is specifically designed to promote cross-cultural understanding. The program will also offer students exchange and language study opportunities. The degree is specifically designed as a pathway to professional employment, however there is a thesis option for high achieving students who may wish to progress to a PhD. This program prepares graduates with practical skills for careers in international affairs with foreign affairs ministries, government departments, international non-government organisations, transnational and multinational corporations and the international media.

The Selection Committee will evaluate the applicant's ability to pursue successfully the course using the following criteria: For the 200 point program - applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree with at least H2B (70 per cent) average in the major or equivalent; For the 100 point program - an honours degree or equivalent in a cognate discipline, or an undergraduate degree in a cognate area with at least H2B (70 per cent) average in the major, or equivalent, and at least two years of documented, relevant work experience. International applicants must fulfill the following English language requirements: IELTS (academic English only) score of 6.5 (no band less than 6.0); TOEFL (paper-based test) score of 577 plus TWE 4.5; TOEFL (computer-based test) score of 233 plus 4.5 essay rating; TOEFL (internet-based test) score of 79 (writing 21, speaking 18, reading 13 and listening 13); Pearson Test of English (academic) score of 58-64 inclusive and no communicative skill below 50.
