This program is designed from a strategic management perspective. The program will provide students with a broad based knowledge of management principles and practices as well as a specialised focus on event management. Students will undertake courses in meetings, conventions and exhibition management; sport, tourism and events; arts and cultural management and festivals and events. A focus on global industry trends makes UniSA’s Event Management program unique and cutting-edge, preparing graduates for employment locally, nationally and internationally. Graduates will have employment options in creative and exciting roles such as the coordination of arts and music festivals, managing exhibitions and management of major sporting events.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students shall normally hold: a successfully completed bachelors degree from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent; or a Graduate Diploma in Management with a grade point average of at least 4.0 from the University of South Australia or an equivalent qualification from another recognised university. Normally students with a grade point avereage of 4.0 or better will be recognised for entry. A GPA of 4.0 refers to the UniSA grading scale which has a range of 1 - 7, other Australian and international grading scales will be considered. International students must have an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic: Overall 6.5 (with 6.0 in Reading and Writing) obtained within the last two years. Students are required to meet at least one of the English language entry requirements listed. IELTS 6.0, TOEFL PBT 577 with TWE of 4.5, TOEFL iBT 90 with no band less than 20, Cambridge CPE C, Cambridge CAE 58 (no less than Borderline in RW), CELUSA AE4, Pearson PTE Academic Bands below as per the Pearson equivalency table 66 with no communicative score less than 60.
