Ringkasan program
This course has been developed in collaboration with professional radiopharmaceutical scientists in the Australian community, members of the University's Department of Chemistry and Biomolecular Science and the Australian School of Advanced Medicine (ASAM). Its purpose is to train graduates with a chemistry background in the preparation and labelling of radio pharmaceuticals in diagnostic and therapeutic medicine. Accreditation: The course has been designed with the intention to satisfy all the education requirements for professional accreditation by the Australiasian College of Physical Scientists and Engineers in Medicine, the accrediting body of the profession. Professional accreditation through this body will become available in the near future. While the program caters for those intending to enter the profession of radiopharmaceutical science, it will be highly attractive for other potential students with a similar background. The program reflects the multidisciplinary nature of the profession, providing a highly integrative course that spans physics, chemistry, biomolecular sciences and medicine. Career opportunities: Hospital or centralised radiopharmacy radiopharmaceutical scientist, research radiopharmaceutical scientist in pharmaceutical companies and universities, production radiopharmaceutical scientist, regulatory affairs specialist.

Students should have Bachelor of Science, preferably with a major in Chemistry. They should also have IELTS (Academic English only); Minimum score of 6.5 overall, with 6.0 in each section; TOEFL (paper based test); Minimum score of 570 overall, with 53 Listening, 52 Reading, 59 Structure/ Written Expression, 4.5 TWE; TOEFL (internet based test); Minimum score of 90 overall, with 20 Listening, 20 Reading, 22 Writing, 20 Speaking.
