Ringkasan program
This program provides specialist training in the principles of modern mathematics and statistics, and incorporates a research project. Coursework programs and postgraduate research degrees are also offered at Masters or Doctoral level in applied mathematics or statistics. Students devise a study program to meet their professional needs in consultation with the Course Coordinator. On completion, career paths include: applied research (operations, econometrics, biometrics, market research, mathematical modelling, statistical diagnosis, and actuarial science); fields where large data sets need to be organized, managed and analysed (oceanography, systems analysis, meteorology, engineering, and finance) and mathematics teaching.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have completed Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Applied Science or other qualifications deemed appropriate by the Faculty. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS score of 6.0 (no component lower than 5.5) or TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (plus minimum Test of Written English score of 4.0) or TOEFL (internet based) score of 79 (minimum writing score of 19) or Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 57.
