Ringkasan program
This course focuses on physics. This course is undertaken over up to one year full-time or two years part-time and requires candidates to complete research culminating in a thesis. Candidates may undertake some coursework units of study, before or during the first semester of the degree. This coursework may be general research preparation or discipline-specific. In some circumstances and after one year of full-time candidature, candidates may apply to the faculty to upgrade to a PhD. Graduates have successfully pursued further study in a range of internationally recognized academic programs. If they would like to continue to be a part of Sydney's research community, they may wish to consider applying for admission to a PhD.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must be a graduate of the University of Sydney with first or second class honors, or a candidate in the final year of an approved honors course in the BSc degree, or hold an equivalent qualification from another institution or an equivalent standard of knowledge. Graduates of master's coursework programs which include a minimum 12 credit point Research Project are also eligible to apply for admission to the Master of Science by research. Once admitted, candidates proceed full-time or part-time, by supervised research and thesis. English language requirements: IELTS: A minimum result of 6.5 overall and a minimum result of 6.0 in each band or TOEFL: A minimum result of 577 overall including a minimum result of 4.5 in Writing or IBT: A minimum result of 90 overall including a minimum result of 22 in Reading, Listening and Speaking and 23 in Writing.
