Ringkasan program
This course is designed to provide comprehensive training in all aspects of speech pathology and to produce graduates who are ready to enter the profession. The first year of the course provides the scientific background in anatomy and physiology, auditory and acoustic phonetics, linguistics, speech and language disorders, clinical practice and processes. The second year builds on the specialised knowledge acquired in first year, develops clinical skills and introduces students to research methods in the field. The Master of Speech Pathology degree allows students to gain both theoretical and clinical skills in the areas of communication and swallowing disorders, with a focus on these disorders across the lifespan.

The Selection Committee will evaluate the applicant's ability to pursue successfully the course using the following criterion - an undergraduate degree. International applicants must fulfill any one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (academic English only) score of (with no band less than or TOEFL (paper-based test) score of 577 plus TWE TOEFL (computer-based test) score of 233 plus essay writing and TOEFL (internet-based test) score of 79 (writing 21, speaking 18, reading and listening 13 each); or Pearson Test of English (academic) score of 58-64 inclusive and no communicative skill below 50.
