Ringkasan program
This course is designed for students who wish to develop their professional standing in the field of sports nutrition. It will help students to increase their professional credibility in sports nutrition, and equip them for senior positions and leadership. It offers them the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and understanding of sports nutrition through research. It can be tailored to suit their individual interests, and students complete a research thesis relevant to their chosen topic. All research components of the program must be approved by the program coordinator and are based on the availability of supervisory staff with relevant expertise. The program can be upgraded to a Doctor of Philosophy with approval from the Dean and program coordinator.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students for the award of Master of Nutrition by Research are normally required to hold an undergraduate degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics or Exercise and Sports Science and have completed a diploma in sports nutrition (eg The IOC Diploma in Sports Nutrition) or have suitable industry experience, and are wishing to gain a higher degree through undertaking practice-based research. Students must satisfy any one of the following English language requirements: IELTS (Academic) score of at least 6.0, with a minimum of 5.5 in all subtests; a TOEFL score (paper-based test) of at least 550, with essay score of 4; TOEFL score (internet-based test) of at least 76, with a minimum writing score 18 or successful completion of Direct Entry English Pathway, with a minimum grade of 65 percent.
