Ringkasan program
This course is designed to address the demand for graduates from information technology and computer science courses who can also apply critical business acumen and strong communication skills. It is for Computer Science and Information Technology graduates who are interested in business and capable of extending their technical computing and information technology skills beyond the ordinary to develop profitable products and innovative services for employers. Core computer science and information technology subjects ensure students are exposed to the latest technologies and knowledge in internet applications, databases, e-commerce and e-security, data mining, multimedia and the all important, project management. Training and support including preparation for industry standard Cisco and Microsoft Technologies certification is also part of this degree. Subjects for the Business Administration component of this degree may be drawn from accounting, strategy and leadership, human resource and business in a global context. This course has a flexible choice of electives which allow students to embellish other areas of interest aside from computing, information technology and business to produce well rounded graduates with the advanced people and project management skills, ethical behaviour and professional vigour demanded in today’s face paced business environment.

Students must have completed an undergraduate degree, equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree, in Information Technology or a related discipline, from this or another university; or completion of either the Graduate Diploma or the Graduate Certificate of Information Technology from this university; or other qualifications or practical experience recognized by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Law, Business and the Creative Arts as equivalent. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS score of 6.0 (no component lower than 5.5) or TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (plus minimum Test of Written English score of 4.0) or TOEFL (internet based) score of 79 (minimum writing score of 19) or Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 57.
