This course is designed for students who intend to work as professional accountants and in senior management positions. It allows graduates to distinguish themselves to future employers with a dual Master degree and delivers comprehensive training in accounting and finance while exposing students to key management areas including human relations, marketing, business law, taxation, economics and business information systems. Master of Professional Accounting graduates qualify to apply for associate membership of CPA Australia and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. The Master of Business Administration uses core knowledge from the academic disciplines of business, law, psychology, technology, social science and humanities to explore key areas confronting modern managers and organisations.

Students must have completed an appropriate undergraduate degree, equivalent to an Australian degree, from this or another University; or other qualifications recognised by the Pro-Vice-Chancellor of the Faculty of Law, Business and the Creative Arts as equivalent to the above; or completion of either the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Accounting or the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma of Business Administration from this university. They must also satisfy the following English language requirements: IELTS score of 6.0 (no component lower than 5.5) or TOEFL (paper based) score of 550 (plus minimum Test of Written English score of 4.0) or TOEFL (internet based) score of 79 (minimum writing score of 19) or Pearson (PTE Academic) score of 57.
