This major has been designed for students currently working in the field of energy and resources, or those considering a career in this growing field. It is a unique major combining oil and gas knowledge, and energy management with the core requirements of an MBA to ensure that graduates have a broad coverage of key functional disciplines of business management, as well as specialised knowledge of oil and gas.

Students must satisfy the English language requirements such as IELTS academic (International English Language Testing System) Writing score of 6.5, Speaking score of 6.5, Reading score of 6.5, Listening score of 6.5, Overall band score of 7.0 and TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) paper based score of 570, Internet based (20 in each section) score of 92, minimum test of written English (TWE) 5, CUTE (Curtin Uni Test of English) - B and Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) Grade C.
