This course involves an intense period of supervised study and research, culminating in the submission of a thesis. The degree is awarded to students who, through original investigation, make a distinct and significant contribution to knowledge in their field of specialisation. It enables students to advance themselves in their career in computing and information technology. It offers flexibility in the choice of topic of research so it may be closely aligned with students' professional careers.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have completed a UTS recognised master's by research or bachelor's degree with first or second class honours (division 1), or an equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional qualifications that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate research studies. Previous qualifications must be in education or a related discipline. Applicants are required to provide UTS: Education with a copy of a previously completed thesis, piece of substantial academic writing or research report as part of their evidence of academic record. Applicant must also develop of a brief research proposal that indicates a scope and standard appropriate to an educational doctoral degree. Students must fulfill the following English language proficiency of academic IELTS score of: 6.0 overall with a writing score of 6.0; or TOEFL: paper based score of: 550 overall with TWE score of 4.5, internet based score of: 80 overall with a writing score of 21; or DEEP: C; or PTE: 58.
