Ringkasan program
In this course students have the opportunity to study subjects which are relevant to all of us in the modern world: what rights can be held when all of us buy goods and services, the way businesses use marketing techniques to sell to us, and how they can make consumption sustainable in a time of environmental threat. Students will learn about law, management and business, and have the chance to explore in depth the worlds of fashion and food. From government policy to behavioural psychology, students will understand the influences shaping the buying decisions each of us make on a daily basis. And with the practical, applied approach, students will develop the kind of transferable skills that will help they succeed in the industry. The objectives are: to understand the micro and macro influences that shape consumer behaviour; to understand the social and economic factors influencing the production, use and access to goods and services; to apply theoretical knowledge to the application and development of consumer goods and services; to operate effectively within a team environment and demonstrate teamwork. Graduates will have the skills and knowledge to seek management trainee, junior management or supervisory positions in any business establishment. Possible careers in this field are in Product Manager, Retail Manager, Corporate Buyer, Small Business Owner.
Modul program
The modules include Strategic Human Resource Management, International Business, Strategic Management, Customer Service, Business Consultancy and Research, Sustainable Consumption.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must be at least 19 years of age and should have relevant EASBTM Advanced Diploma or relevant Polytechnic Diploma or an equivalent academic qualification, and they should demonstrate their proficiency in English language with minimum EASBTM / ETEDP Level 3 / IELTS score of 6.0 / TOEFL score of 550.
