Ringkasan program
The aim of this programme is to widen the educational options available and the marketability of students, as well as to add value to its undergraduate programmes.
Modul program
To qualify for a second major in Accounting, non-BAcc students would be required to complete the following courses: Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Corporate Reporting and Financial Analysis, Finance. Any four courses from Accounting Core or Accounting Options: Accounting Core courses are Accounting Information Systems, Accounting Thought and Practice, Advanced Financial Accounting, Audit and Assurance and Taxation. The Accounting Options courses are: Accounting Study Mission, Advanced Taxation, Corporate Advisory, Corporate Financial Management, Governance and Risk Management, Information Systems Audit, Internal Audit, Research in Accounting, Strategic Management Accounting and Valuation for Accounting.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Prospective students with outstanding academic results may apply for direct entry to the double degree programme. Alternatively, SMU students who are enrolled in a single degree programme and have excellent results in their first or second year at SMU, will also have the opportunity to opt for the double degree programme. If successful, the students can take courses from both programmes they are enrolled in concurrently. There is no pre-set order in which one has to complete the required courses. International students must fulfill the following English language requirements (minimum scores): TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based), 79 - 80 (internet-based) or an IELTS overall band score of 6.5 and with Malaysian University English Test (MUET): overall band of at least 5.
