This course seeks to add a rigorous analytical edge to the practical business skills developed in previous study. The degree provides an overview of the strategic function of the business and the role of the individual in achieving this aim. The award, through its innovative teaching and learning approaches, encourages learning by actions and reflection in order to develop the employability of the award students. The programme aims to equip students with the knowledge to analyse business problems using a variety of approaches and techniques; enable students to understand the range of contexts, both nationally and internationally, within which business decisions are taken; enhance career development in a business studies environment to include an appreciation of lifelong learning skills and personal development; enable students to plan, organise and manage events in support of business activity; provide an opportunity for students to develop academic interests and consolidate the prior learning through an integrated focus of study; develop student's understanding of business studies, focusing on the analysis of theoretical and contemporary issues; provide a broad-based programme of education suitable for employment in a range of organisations as well as for professional and post-graduate study; enable students to use appropriate analytical and vocational skills in order to resolve problems relevant to a wide range of business organisations; and enable students to develop skills of analysis, interpretation and sound judgement of value in subsequent career or future study.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants must hold BTEC Higher National Diploma in relevant field; polytechnic diploma; any other equivalent qualifications. Also they must demonstrate their English language proficiency with an IELTS score of 6.0. Those without IELTS score 6.0 are required to attend an English Course at a fee.
