This programme equips students with the practical skills needed to become effective managers of teams and individuals. It enables students to acquire an in-depth understanding of a wide range of business concepts and prepares them for work in a number of general management roles. There is a particular emphasis on developing the ability to manage people, so that by the end of the programme students should be able to handle confidently many of the complex interpersonal interactions which take place between members of teams, clients and customers. The abilities to drive business success and manage people effectively are essential qualifications for becoming a successful manager. Graduates will hold a qualification that will enhance their career development in the field in which they are currently working. Those choosing the programme as initial career preparation would be in position to seek employment where knowledge of essential business principles in addition to practical experience would be a significant strength in terms of CV building. Additionally, graduates have great opportunities for fast-track career development. They could potentially work in a wide range of businesses. The modules secure a solid base for students in the specialised areas identified and make them attractive in terms of competitive recruitment.

The modules are as follows: BUSI 1317 Strategic Management, BUSI 1323 Organisation Behaviour 3: Leadership, BUSI 1334 Personal and Professional Development 3: Career Management, BUSI 1475 Contemporary Issues in Management, BUSI 1155 International Business, RESE 1031 Thematic Independent Study.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants must be 18 years of age and should have completed ERCI Advanced Diploma in Business Administration or; Advanced Diploma in business from a recognized institute of higher learning; or Business Diploma from a local polytechnic. They should also demonstrate their proficiency with a minimum C6 in English Language at GCE 'O' Levels or; IELTS 6.0 or equivalent, or; TOEFL 547 (Paper based) or equivalent, or; TOEFL 78 (Internet based) or equivalent, or; TOEIC 605-780. Mature applicants may also apply for the programme provided they are 21 years and above at the time of registration; have at least two years of verifiable working experience; provide a detailed resume with contact details of past and present employers; pass the ERCI Aptitude Test; and pass an interview conducted by one of ERCI's Senior Academics.
