Ringkasan program
This course consists of 11 units. Students have the option to enrol in either single or double majors. It is professionally recognised by Council for Australasian University Tourism and Hospitality Education (CAUTHE) (membership). Units common to both majors units need only be taken once. Depending on the level of their previous studies, some students may be required to complete one general elective unit. Graduates will be allowed to use the title Bachelor of Arts (Murdoch) after their names.
Modul program
The core units covered are: Tourism and Events covers TOU102 Introduction to Travel and Tourism; SOC 222 Social Research Methods; TOU201 Sustainable Tourism; POL 230 Public Policy Analysis; TOU 212 Festivals and Events; TOU 303 Destination Management; TOU 304 Events and Festivals Management. Hospitality and Tourism Management covers BUS 207 Tourism and Hospitality Law; BUS 240 Organisational Development and Human Resource Management; TOU 201 Sustainable Tourism; BUS 317 Strategic Management; TOU 303 Destination Management; BUS 320 Advanced Human Resource Perspectives.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have completed polytechnic Diploma; private Diploma/Advanced Diploma; CAT/ACCA. Additionally applicants admitted to the Bachelor of Arts course will be required to undertake Tourism Systems unit in the Kaplan Diploma prior to beginning the Bachelor course; applicants are required to meet Murdoch University English language requirement.
