This course gives students the creative and technical knowledge and skills they need to become professionals in the animation industry. The emphasis is placed on the design and production aspects of 2D and 3D animation, including life drawing as well as background and character design. To enhance their competitive edge in the digital age, students learn to use state-of-the-art editing equipment in pre-production, production and post-production. They also acquire skills for creating moving imagery and special effects, which are currently in demand in the local and international film media and entertainment industries. Graduates can find career opportunities in animation artist; art/film director; games designer; multimedia designer; special effects artist; post-production editor; TV commercial producer/director; music video artist.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students from Malaysia should have SPM. Chinese students should have completed senior high school. There are separate entry requirements for each country. They should have a minimum 3 GCE ‘O’ level credits or 5 GCE ‘N’ levels or senior high school equivalent. They should have a minimum TOEFL scores of 550 (paper-based) or 79-80(internet - based) or IELTS score of 6.0 (academic module) or minimum score of C6 in English at GCE 'O' level or TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) with a minimum score of 650.
