This programme will equip students with the relevant knowledge and expertise to excel in today's booming tourism and hospitality industry. It is one of the most popular and dynamic degrees offered by The University of Newcastle, Australia. Graduates will be equipped to take advantage of career opportunities in the following professions: business management; retail management; advertising and promotions management; meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions; marketing; small and medium enterprise management; destination planning and development; resorts and club management; international marketing and investments; tourism and hospitality management. This programme is specially designed with the objective of giving students with GCE 'O' Levels or its equivalent a head start to an undergraduate degree programme. First year consists of bridging components which are meant to prepare students for further undergraduate work. second and third year represent an accelerated programme which allows a typical three year programme to be completed in two years.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants should have completed a minimum of 5 GCE 'O' level credits including English (second languages are excluded). An applicant for a place at the University of Newcastle who does not speak English as a first language must demonstrate that they meet the University's English proficiency requirement. Applicants without the required average grades may also apply but will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by the University. Applicants whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate the English proficiency by obtaining an IELTS academic score of 6.0 (with no sub-band less than 6.0); paper-based TOEFL test score of 525 with a Test of Written English (TWE) of 4.0; internet-based TOEFL test score of 80 with no subtest score less than 20; C grade or better in GCE 'A' level general paper; successful completion of English in Academic Purposes (EAP) program with an overall score of 60 per cent with no sub-test score less than 60 per cent; successful completion of an Australian Year 12 program in Australia.
