This course gives students the creative and technical knowledge and skills they need to become professionals in the interior design industry. It encompasses the study of both interior architecture and design content within the built environment, while focusing on the human interface within given spaces. The emphasis is placed on space planning, creative problem-solving, communication skills and knowledge of building materials, construction, computer aided drafting and the history of design. Students are expected to provide design solutions to a wide variety of complex real-life space problems. Graduates can find career opportunities in commercial interior designer; institutional interior designer; residential interior designer; exhibition designer; furniture designer; design consultant; design educator; facility manager; CAD designer.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students from Malaysia should have SPM. Chinese students should have completed senior high school. There are separate entry requirements for each country. They should have a minimum 3 GCE ‘O’ level credits or 5 GCE ‘N’ levels or senior high school equivalent. They should have a minimum TOEFL scores of 550 (paper-based) or 79-80(internet - based) or IELTS score of 6.0 (academic module) or minimum score of C6 in English at GCE 'O' level or TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) with a minimum score of 650.
