This programme is focusing on the application of Information Technology. The graduates from the program would be able to work effectively as software engineers, network administrators and knowledge engineers. These jobs are of great demand in the industry in Singapore. This programme aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills on application of computing in the modern business environment. In addition, the graduates from the Computer Science program would be able to perform in the area of research and development of new software products, which is needed in software and multimedia industry, and the graduates from Business Computing and Information Technology would be able to manage effectively the information needed for today’s e-business environment. This validated programme aims to develop graduates: with the knowledge and skills to apply computing in the modern business environment; to work effectively as software engineers, network administrators and knowledge engineers in the industry; to be able perform in the research and development of new software products that is needed in software and multimedia industry; to manage and use information effectively the in today’s competitive business environment.

The modules include BS307 Business Information System, BS308 Business Research Methodology, IT309 System Development and Implementation, IT319 Information Systems and Management, IT322 Software Engineering and Management, IT323 Knowledge Based Systems, IT366 Network Communications, IT367 Electronic Commerce, IT368 Advanced Databases, PJ330 Project.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students to be considered for entry into the programme must have completed a Advanced Diploma in Information Technology- Awarded By Informatics and Validated by NCC Education, UK (Required to take bridging modules), or Advanced Diploma in Computing - Awarded By Informatics and Validated by NCC Education, UK, or 'A' Level or equivalent, or Students with appropriate experience, or Other candidates considered by the University of Wales on an exceptional, case-by-case basis. Also students for whom English is not their first language must provide evidence of English Proficiency: IELTS - A minimum overall band score of 6.0, or TOEFL - Paper-based test a minimum of 550, or Informatics Proficiency in English Programme, or Other equivalent English qualifications.
