Ringkasan program

This programme includes the foundations of computing and computer works and the more advanced study of computer network construction, administration and security. This is a rapidly expanding area of computing which requires an appreciation of recent technological advances. The course initially focuses upon the basic principles underlying the field upon those principles on which these advances are built. The study of the more advanced topics develops from these principles. There is a need for suitability qualified people who are able to exploit their knowledge of network technologies to help in developing innovative solutions to networking related problems. Specifically, the programme aims to provide a structured, flexible and coherent programme of study in network computing that will enable students to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary to pursue careers in related areas, to encounter the adoption of a critical and independent approach to learning, to enable students to develop an understanding of the theoretical and practical issues of computing particularly allowing students to cover a range of related topics or follow an area of study in depth, and to provide a foundation for further academic study, research training and future professional development.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have completed Advanced Diploma from School of ICT, Informatics Academy, or a relevant diploma from Polytechnics / Private Institutions (Subject to University's approval). Entrants whose main language is English, or who studied for their diploma and advanced diploma on courses where the language of instruction was English, are deemed to satisfy the English-language requirement. All other entrants must hold one of the current Brookes-recognised English-language qualifications (IELTS 550 or TOEFL 6.0 or equivalent).
