Ringkasan program

This programme provide students with the confidence and skills to think laterally and apply these skills to other activities and disciplines, in addition to preparing them for further advanced study in psychology in anticipation of pursuing occupations where subject skills are essential. Students will develop personal transferable skills in order that they may easily move into employment or further programmes of study that do not require psychology subject skills, but instead require study, IT, communication, and analytic abilities obtained while undertaking their psychology degree. The psychology with counselling provision approved by the University of Bradford, UK and delivered at MDIS is built upon producing graduates who are eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC), with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and will enable students to undertake further postgraduate training to become a Chartered Psychologist.

Modul program

The curriculum includes Year 1: The Psychology of Learning and Study, Introduction to Research Methods in Psychology, Cognitive Psychology I, Introduction to Counselling, Lifespan Development and Personality, Essentials of Social Psychology; Year 2: Research Methods in Psychology, Issues in Counselling, Cognitive Psychology II, Social Psychology, Psychobiology and Neuroscience, Personality and Individual Differences, Developmental Psychology; Year 3: Research Project/Dissertation in Specialist Area, Psychological Health and Treatment Interventions, Occupational and Business Psychology, Counselling in Practice.
